Weideman comes to the Corridor after working as an assistant manager at Hy-Vee in Spencer. He and his family moved to Spencer from Manhattan, Kansas in July 2015.
While in Kansas, Weideman worked as a general assignment reporter for the Junction City Daily Union, then later as the Manhattan Mercury’s crime and courts reporter.
Before moving to Spencer, Weideman was a content developer for CivicPlus, a Manhattan-based company that develops city and county government websites.
Weideman graduated from Drake University in 2012 with a degree in news and Internet journalism.
