Supply Chain Clerk

• Processes purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner • Tracks orders and investigates problems; Reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports • Collects and enters data into internal production/inventory reporting systems in order to provide reporting • Records supplies received and transferred and supports distribution planning and organization • Creates and distributes delivery schedules • Prepares shipping documentation and ensures supplies reach the correct destination in a timely manner • Performs research activities in order to identify new solutions for logistical challenges • Analyzes and reconciles documentation such as invoices, bills and other supply documents • Creates and processes e-requester items to ensure proper payment and/or approve invoices for payment • Supports month end financial reporting • Tracks and maintains copies of certifications, standard operating procedures and any other documentation as assigned to ensure continuity in the supply chain process • Establishes and maintains collaborating relationships with customers, suppliers and supply chain staff • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers • Supports the daily transportation functions
The Supply Chain Clerk provides a wide variety of logistics, transportation and inventory support. This position prepares purchase orders, maintains purchasing files and tracks deliveries to ensure Rembrandt receives exactly what was ordered from suppliers. Additionally, the person in this role answers supplier and partner inquiries about order changes or cancellations and checks purchase orders for accuracy. The Supply Chain Clerk acquires materials and documents to fulfill purchases orders and follows through with purchase from order placement to fulfillment and ensures orders arrive undamaged and on time. The individual in this role plays a pivotal role in organizational communication and will need to work positively across a variety of business segments while remaining detail oriented and timely.
