Methodist Manor progressing with new addition

A few weeks of unexpectedly favorable winter weather has pushed the massive Methodist Manor addition forward. From February into early March, work has been completed that had not been anticipated until later in the spring.
Currently, the third of five sequences of structural steel is being set. The fourth sequence is slated to be delivered in mid-April and the final sequence (connecting the new and existing buildings) is expected in early May.
“Woodruff Construction has been an outstanding organization to work with. They recognized an opportunity to get some early work accomplished and seized it,” Methodist Manor CEO Nick Landgraf said. “There are two small sections of footings yet to be poured so that equipment can still access the interior for a few additional items. After those items are finished, stud walls and roof deck will be started in June. It is surreal to think that residents will be moving over to a new facility 15 months from now.”
