With more than a decade’s experience in economic development, Shannon Landauer is an accomplished professional who consistently demonstrates strong leadership attributes and dedication to the industry.
Landauer got her start in economic development at the Boone County Development Agency in Albion, Nebraska. During her tenure, she served as Administrative Assistant and then Executive Director. She then acted as the Executive Director for both the Carroll Area Development Corporation and the Carroll Chamber of Commerce. Landauer administered business retention and expansion activities, carried out the business recruitment strategy for the area, identified and implemented workforce development strategies, worked to develop a long-term housing strategy for the Carroll County area and provided guidance for new economic developers and business members in the region. She is now the President and CEO of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation.
Currently Landauer is a member of the NREDA Marketing Committee, PDI Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Conference Committee, Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative Revolving Loan Fund Committee and Region XII Council of Governments Revolving Loan Fund Committee. In 2017 she earned her Certified Economic Developer Designation from the International Economic Development Council.
