Manufacturing is the largest employment sector in the Iowa Lakes Corridor region – 28.9% in Buena Vista County, 14.7% in Clay County, 25.8% in Dickinson County and 17.7% in Emmet County. This compares to the statewide average of 15.7% employed in manufacturing.
