WORK | SPOUSAL EMPLOYMENT

One of the goals of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation is to attract people and workers to the region. We are developing and broadcasting the compelling case for the Iowa Lakes Corridor region as the place to live, work and play.

The Corridor has launched the Spousal Employment Network, a network of volunteers in each county to be called upon when an interview is being conducted by a local company. We want to help find the spouse meaningful employment, as well. The volunteer team will arrange for the spouse to be introduced to local employment opportunities, as well as give a tour for the individual to view the highlights of the community, such as schools, hospitals, churches, housing and more.

We have created a short survey to be completed by the spouse. Corridor staff will be notified when a survey has been completed, and will call upon the respective county team to arrange a visit for the spouse.
