During the Clay County Fair, The World’s Greatest County Fair, located in Spencer, Iowa, the Corridor is sponsoring the Innovation Pavilion. The pavilion will host local entrepreneurs and showcase our youth entrepreneurship programs. The Innovation Pavilion can be found in the southwest part of the fairgrounds (approximately one block south of the Brandon Iron).

Companies with exhibits in the Innovation Pavilion include:

Boji Custom Metal Works – Custom metal fabrication, tailgate trailers & fuel boats

Breezy Mills – Wind-powered pond bubblers/aerators

Crown Clinics – RV-based mobile healthcare clinic

eMotions Lighting/Simons Controls – Quality lighting controls for homes & businesses

Monsanto – Sustainable agricultural company

Nelson Products Co. – Flame Genie fire pellet pit

Precision Ag Systems – Precision agriculture: software, firmware & precision planting equipment

Precision Planting – New ideas and technology that contribute to better seed spacing, better depth control and better root systems

Salmon River Innovations – Air filter cleaning device manufacturer

Thinix – Thin, reliable, secure application or device which allows easy/fun access to local, cloud or virtual applications and cloud services.

The Zone Home Entertainment – Digital in-store advertising platform; markets consumer electronics and security & surveillance systems

Saturday, September 7 – Entrepreneurial Panel with Pavilion Vendors at 1:30 p.m.

Sunday, September 8 - Dream Big Grow Here Kick-off Day with a presentation at 1:30 p.m.

Monday, September 9 – Club E, the Corridor’s entrepreneur networking group, will meet from 5-7 p.m. at the pavilion. All area entrepreneurs welcome!

Friday, September 13 – Youth Entrepreneurship Day

In the west portion of the Innovation Pavilion, the Corridor’s Youth Entrepreneurship programs will be highlighted. Come discover what our Middle School Academy graduates have done, learn about Junior Achievement, Be Your Own Boss and the Okoboji Entrepreneurial Institute!
