Entrepreneurial Workshop Series Starting in February

The Iowa Lakes Corridor will be hosting a series of entrepreneurial workshops, entitled Prepare to Launch. This program is a 10-week, 30-hour training boot camp facilitated by Brian Dalziel, Senior Vice President of the Iowa Lakes Corridor. Prepare to Launch will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. from February 11 – April 15, 2014 at the Corridor office (520 2nd Avenue E., Spencer). The cost of these ten 3-hour workshops is $199.00.
Prepare to Launch provides the tools to develop a business concept, recruit partners, advisors and employees, determine the viability of a business idea and to plan and execute the activities necessary for a successful business launch. The series will cover the following topics: recruiting your core crew, exploring who to serve and what to sell them, recruiting specialist crew members (advisors and employees), top line feasibility, detailed market research, detailed communications channel planning, detailed planning of product/service, financial growth planning, sources of funds and the path forward.
