I’m guessing some of you are reading this with a very confused look on your face; rightfully so. Prepare to Launch, an entrepreneurial training workshop series, is a new program that is scheduled to take place this Spring right here at the Corridor office. February 11th will mark the start of a 10-week, 30-hour boot camp facilitated by Brian Dalziel, the Senior VP of our crew.

For 3 hours each Tuesday evening, entrepreneurs will learn the ins and outs of starting a business. Would you like to gain some invaluable knowledge to help kick-start your company? Prepare to Launch is designed to provide the tools to develop your business concept, recruit partners, advisors & employees, determine the viability of your business idea, and to plan & execute the activities necessary for a successful business launch.

Let’s break down these 10 weeks a little further. Brian has the voyage mapped out, including workbooks and activities for each session. Experts in the following fields will also be presenting and sharing their knowledge during this time. Sessions will include:

1. Recruiting your core crew

2. Exploring who to serve and what to sell them

3. Recruiting specialist crew members – advisors and employees

4. Topline feasibility

5. Detailed market research

6. Detailed communications channel planning

7. Detailed planning of product/service

8. Financial growth plan

9. Sources of funds

10. The path forward

Brian is excited about this new opportunity to teach fellow entrepreneurs. Having started many companies himself, he knows the steps it takes to, not only minimize the challenges that arise, but how to witness continued success long term.
