Local Architecture Firm Wins National Award for Best Places to Work

Since the Best Firms To Work For list began in 2001, hundreds of outstanding architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms (across the United States and Canada) have been recognized for their ability to inspire their teams to perform at the highest levels. These firms create an environment where their people feel valued, can make a difference, and can clearly see their contribution to the overall mission and success of the firm.

The winners were celebrated at the Hot Firm and A/E Industry Awards Conference held at the Beverly Hilton in in Beverly Hills, CA, on September 25-26, 2014.  Firms who applied for this prestigious ranking were evaluated comprehensively on firm culture, workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, professional development, and more – both from the management and staff’s perspectives. Awards were given in the categories of architecture, civil engineering, environmental, multidiscipline, and structural engineering.

Cannon Moss Brygger Architects (CMBA) ranked 6^th in the Architecture category for the United States and Canada. “We take great pride in receiving this recognition,” said Todd Moss, President & CEO, “CMBA is committed to our employees, our culture and our clients. CMBA has offices in Sioux City and Spencer, Iowa; and Grand Island, Nebraska. Over the last year, they have grown to a firm of 47 employees. CMBA recently renovated space downtown (505 Grand Avenue) to relocate their office.
