The Cost of a Home

According to data gathered by the USA census (pdf found here: http://www.census.gov/const/uspriceann.pdf), the average price of buying a new house can be over 200,000 thousand dollars.

Within the Iowa Lakes Corridor region, the Iowa Lakes CDC wants to help make moving as painless as possible. For any personal residence (that is new) between the costs of 115,000 and 195,000 dollars, buyers will be eligible for a 15,000 dollar grant. This grant, called the Spencer Quality Housing Initiative Grant, will be money provided to help buyers find their place in Iowa.
