Be Prepared

24 Feb 2016

Many students nationwide – high-school and college – are unprepared for the professional world. The Iowa Lakes Corridor region aims to change this - to prepare students for the future.

With over 22% of the region’s jobs in manufacturing, the Iowa Lakes CDC aims to prepare high-school students for potential fields of employment by providing them with hands on experience through their manufacturing and constructing trades academy. Students receive on the site training and experience with professional employers found throughout the region. With the help of Iowa Lakes CDC, the youth of the Corridor region will be prepared for the workforce.
