Awards and Recognition
Recently, MoneyRates.com ranked Iowa as the fourth best state in the country for millennials. North Dakota topped the list followed by South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Montana. The ranking considered factors such as job availability, affordable rent, night life, broadband access and other amenities. Contrastingly, it did note that Iowa's unemployment rate was the state's strongest feature.
Though MoneyRates listed Iowa's unemployment rate at 5.8 percent, the rates in northwest Iowa are even less.
