Iowa Lakes Corridor welcomes new staff

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation would like to welcome to its team two new hires: Katrina McCarty and Tim Weideman.
Katrina will be acting as the Corridor's Office, Communications, and Events intern for the summer. She is a recent graduate from Clay Central/ Everly High School and plans to attend Iowa State University in the fall. She is very grateful for this great opportunity to work at the Corridor and to give back to her community. Katrina is the daughter of Eugene McCarty.
Tim Weideman has taken on the position of Administrative Specialist. Tim comes to the Corridor after working as an assistant manager at Hy-Vee in Spencer. Previously, he has been employed at the Junction City Daily Union as a general assignment reporter, Manhattan Mercury as a crime and courts reporter, and at CivicPlus as a content developer, all located in Manhattan, Kansas. Weideman and his family moved to Spencer in July, 2015. Tim graduated from Drake University with a degree in news and Internet journalism and is excited to begin working at the Corridor office and to put his passion and skills to use for the Corridor region.
