Iowa Lakes Initiative wins Farmers Bank’s $500 Bronze Anniversary Prize

Farmers Bank of Spencer has announced that the Iowa Lakes Initiative has received the $500 Bronze Anniversary Prize as part of the bank’s 100 Year Anniversary Charity Contest.

This was the contest's second group of winning charities. Contest winners were determined by voters.  

“We are very honored by this recognition of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Initiative, which is a significant piece of a broad effort to build a robust support system for local entrepreneurs,” said Kiley Miller, President and CEO of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation. “Thank you to the voters.”

The Iowa Lakes Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affiliated with the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation.

The next and final voting period in Farmers Bank’s 100 Year Anniversary Charity Contest begins Oct. 26.
