The truck with a parrot, a penguin and palm trees might find a place near high school football fields on Friday nights.
Fans just need to listen for the tropical tune playing from Kevin Vugteveen's Kona Ice of Okoboji truck.
Vugteveen, along with driver Lori Hott, bring their flavored, shaved-ice truck to sporting events and nonprofit celebrations throughout the Iowa Great Lakes. Vugteveen donates 20 percent of the profits from each event to the organization.
