Five by Five Business Spotlight: Seasons Center for Behavioral Health
20 Oct 2016
News Release
Seasons Center for Behavioral Health is one of the rapidly growing businesses in the Iowa Lakes Corridor region.
The most recognized aspect of that growth is likely the new Autumn's Center in Spencer, a soon-to-open facility focusing on children ages 0-21.
But perhaps less known is that in 2016 alone, Seasons Center has started 46 employees. Twenty-six of those are working at either the Spencer or Spirit Lake location. The new positions include psychiatrist, outpatient therapists, pediatric nurse practitioner, support staff, IT and HR positions.
Barb Work, an HR Generalist, started working at Seasons Center in Spencer on Jan. 28. She's originally from Spirit Lake, but hadn't lived in Northwest Iowa for the past 35 years.
"I was blessed to be offered the HR Generalist position at Seasons and have enjoyed being back home ever since," Work said.
Seasons Center continues to grow to meet the mental health needs of the communities it serves.
Seasons Centers' growth is going to bring people seeking jobs to our region - and it will keep current residents here by providing jobs to those individuals, too.
The Iowa Lakes Corridor's goal is to see five percent growth in five years. We've named that initiative the Five by Five Campaign.
If your business or organization has been successful in recruiting or retaining job-seekers, please email Tim Weideman a description of your efforts. Your business or organization could be featured on our website and weekly newsletter.
But the Corridor and the businesses we work with can't increase our population without help from Community Champions, who will help connect personal references to these job opportunities, as well as housing opportunities.
Please consider signing up to become a Community Champion. Our communities won't GROW without YOU.
