Ken Westergard has accomplished a lot in his more than eight decades in the Iowa Great Lakes Region.
He helped develop infrastructure in the area, ran his own company and continues to be an active member in his community. But the achievement he is most proud of is raising his family.
His wife, Dorene, two sons, Mark and Kirk, and daughter Melode have motivated him to get involved throughout the years. And on Wednesday, he will be celebrated for this dedication to the area.
