Kiley Miller, executive director of the Iowa Lakes Corridor of Opportunity, told the Emmet County Board of Supervisors he had a large concern for housing in Emmet County.

Miller said, "A developer from the Twin Cities was interested in new, single-family construction in the Estherville market."

Miller said, "I don't know how we're going to reconcile price point vs. the market's demand."

Miller said Iowans were used to paying less for housing in general, and many are unwilling to pay market price for a new home.
