Dakota Pack breaks ground on expansion

Dakota Pack of Estherville held a groundbreaking ceremony for its expansion, which will double the capacity of their cull hog processing facility.
The ceremony included comments by President and CEO Duane Anderson, as well as congratulations from Mayor Kenny Billings and Economic Development Director Lyle Hevern, and a blessing from Pastor Cole McCormick of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Alyssa Hammerschmidt, director of Marketing and Communications at Farmers Union Industries, was also present with opening and closing remarks.
