Eaton building in Spencer for sale

Eaton Corporation has listed its Spencer building for sale.
The company is asking $3.3 million for the 330,000-square-foot building that sits on just less than 63 acres of land, according to a recently posted Location One Information Systems listing.
“We’re excited by the availability of this property,” said Kiley Miller, Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation President and CEO. “It’s a great size, it’s at a great location and the property itself is beautiful and sized for expansion.”
Thomas Wenkstern of Cushman and Wakefield is the building broker. The Iowa Lakes Corridor is also working to identify possible occupants.
“We’re working with the broker directly,” Miller said. “If people contact us, we’ll certainly respond, but we’ll share that information with the broker because they have the expertise and are working directly with Eaton. So we’re playing both the middle role and a supporting role.”
