Pristine lakes, fine fishing

"If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles." ~Doug Larson

If you want to focus on the important things of life, look no further than the Iowa Great Lakes region. It’s home to a series of pristine lakes, which provide ample opportunities to relax, enjoy nature and  — most importantly — fish!

East and West Okoboji Lakes feature fine fishing opportunities. West Okoboji is Iowa's deepest natural lake, with 47 different species of fish and more Iowa all-time big fish records than any other lake in the state. East Okoboji features a fishing pier and shore fishing from Elinor Bedell State Park, which has wonderful camping and day use facilities.

Both lakes have multiple access points for boats and no restrictions on boat or motor size.
