Come home to the fair

28 Aug 2017

The first Clay County Fair Association was organized in 1917, which means the “The World’s Greatest County Fair” celebrates its centennial this year, September 9-17.

Spencer, Iowa residents can be proud of the fair’s unique legacy. The 2017 Clay County Fair will culminate in a phenomenal party to mark 100 years. Those who have moved away will want to return home for the fair’s big Birthday Bash.

Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons promises a “once-in-a-lifetime event you won’t want to miss,” with “daring thrill acts, comedy, music, and the largest fireworks display ever seen at the Fair.”

Check out the fair’s website for more information.
