Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation President & CEO Kiley Miller delivered the opening keynote address at Heartland Economic Development Course in April in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Heartland Economic Development Course is four-day intensive training in the basic concepts, information, methods and strategies of local economic development. The course draws 85 students annually from across the Midwest. Miller serves on the board of the Professional Developers of Iowa and is a frequent speaker on economic development issues around the state. In addition to Heartland, Miller’s his recent speaking engagements included the Midstates Community and Economic Development Conference in South Sioux City, Nebraska, the 2018 Iowa Smart Economic Development Conference in Des Moines, the Municipal Leadership Academy of the Iowa League of Cities in Storm Lake, and at the inauguration of Dr. Joshua Mechant as President of Buena Vista University, where Miller serves as an adjunct instructor in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business.
