LIGHTHOUSE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Storm Lake United is pleased to present the Lighthouse Summer Concert Series: a total of four unique and diverse concerts that are free to attend and a great reason to stay in town and enjoy some family-friendly fun. Bring your blankets and chairs and find your perfect spot on the Great Lawn at AWASIS Park or take to the lake and experience the concert from the water. All four concerts will be held on the Great Lawn overlooking the lake and adjacent to King’s Pointe Water Park and Resort. Alcoholic drinks will not be sold but attendees are welcome to bring their own beverages. Alcohol is allowed in all forms except kegs.

These concerts will help establish Storm Lake as a focal point of the Midwest music scene, bringing fresh new artists to our town for you to enjoy. Storm Lake is already an established summer destination for boating, fishing, shopping and dining. Now visitors have yet another reason to stay and play in the City Beautiful - Free live music!

DIRT ROAD DIXIE

SATURDAY, MAY 25, 8 – 11 PM. Dirt Road Dixie is opening act of the summer! As one of the hottest country rock groups in the Midwest, we couldn’t be happier to introduce them to Storm Lake. You're sure to enjoy their high energy performances and great set list of country, old and new, as well as original songs and some of your favorite rock hits, all with a DRD twist. We are excited for all that’s in store for Dirt Road Dixie and the road that lies ahead!

IV PLAY

SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 8 – 11 PM. Up next on the roster is the IV Play Band! IV Play introduced themselves in 1999. This premier band will have you on the dance floor in no time! Based out of Mankato, Minnesota, you may have seen the name playing most of their dates in the upper mid-west, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

PETROCK

FRIDAY, JULY 19, 8 – 11 PM. Are you ready to soft rock? Take a few hours to join us on a warm July night to enjoy cold drinks and hot music. PetRock is the premier 70's band in the nation, playing the music that everybody loves from a time when songwriting, musicianship and love of music led the way.

PARRANDEROS LATIN COMBO

FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 8 – 11 PM. For the Grand Finale of the first ever Lighthouse Concert Series, we’re bringing a Latin touch to the people of Storm Lake. Parranderos Latin Combo is a Latin music group based in Des Moines. Exploring musical styles such as Salsa, Cumbia, Samba and more, Parranderos Latin Combo keeps Latin music alive and diverse in Iowa and beyond.
