Corridor welcomes Mia Simpson as Summer Office & Events Assistant

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation is excited to welcome Summer Office and Events Assistant Mia Simpson to the team.???????

Simpson is going to be a senior at Spencer High School this fall. She is involved in cross country, National Honor Society, student council, Key Club, and volunteers with the Spencer Community School Foundation. She is also a participant in No Boundaries, a project-based learning program bringing businesses and students together to complete passion-based, real-world projects.

After graduating, Simpson plans to attend Des Moines Area Community College and study marketing.

?“I am excited to work with the Iowa Lakes Corridor because I hope to come back to the area after college,” Simpson said. “This position will allow me to build my network and create connections. Also, because I want to go into marketing, I will be able to get a head-start on my skills before going to DMACC next fall.”
