Responsibilities

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time position (15 hours per week) on the Spencer Campus. Primary responsibilities are to recruit, train, and place volunteers with public agencies and non-profit organizations based on grant identified community priorities. Hours are somewhat flexible with very little evening or weekend work. This is a grant funded position. Required to travel occasionally utilizing personal vehicle. Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. National Service Criminal History Check approval is required before employment as per federal grant requirements. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree desired. Computer knowledge, communication skills and successful experience working with community organizations or agencies and with volunteers required.
