Responsibilities
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time (27.5 hrs/wk) position located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities are to coordinate and teach CPR, First Aid, and other related courses. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and work with minimal supervision. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency required. A strong background in emergency medical field, including practical and instructional experience is required. Must possess current CPR instructor endorsement or ability to complete within six months of employment. Nationally Certified EMT preferred. Associates Degree in Emergency Medical Services or related field desirable. EMT Instructor and Evaluator endorsement preferred. Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
