Responsibilities

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time position (27.5 hours per week) with flexible summer hours, located on the Estherville campus. This position works alongside the college Science faculty and actively supports the Northwest Iowa Regional STEM initiative. Primary responsibilities are to assist both Science faculty with lab and department support and the Northwest Regional STEM Manager with STEM programming. Some evening and weekend duties required; moderate regional and state travel required.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate of Science degree in the science field or an Associate of Arts degree with a science concentration required. Successful completion of four college science courses with labs (16 credit hours minimum). Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work well with students and faculty. Must have ability to work with chemicals and equipment in labs. Previous experience working in a college science lab preferred.
