Responsibilities

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time position located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities are to teach Allied Health classes including CNA, CMA, Med Manager, CPR/First Aid, LPN IV Therapy, ACLS, PALS, and assist with State certification testing. These classes will include both face-to-face and online class components. Some evening and weekend hours will be required. Some class preparation time may also be included. Will require some travel to other campuses and to industry partners. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and work with minimal supervision. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa. At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Nurse Aid Train the Trainer and CPR Instructor Certification required (or willingness to complete upon hire). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of two years of experience. At least one year of Long-term Care experience. Previous teaching experience.
