Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Blurry Bigfoot Coffee Company of Dickinson County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
“I want to congratulate Shelley and Paige Morris for their dedication to serving high-quality coffee, drinks, and food in Lake Park,” said Ranking Member Ernst. “Blurry Bigfoot Coffee Company is well known, not only for its delicious dining options but for its innovative entrepreneurial spirit and its commitment to giving back to the community.”
Blurry Bigfoot Coffee Company is a specialty coffeehouse founded by Shelley and Paige Morris in 2021. Based in Lake Park, Iowa, the coffeehouse provides espresso drinks, non-coffee drinks, breakfast, and lunch to the Dickinson County community through both their dine-in and drive-thru services. Due to the overwhelming success of their first location, Shelley and Paige opened a European-style bistro and bakery called Blurry Bigfoot Bakery and Bistro in 2022 and have plans to franchise Blurry Bigfoot Coffeehouse to other locations.
Stay tuned as Ranking Member Ernst recognizes more Iowa small businesses across the state with her Small Business of the Week award.
