Barista

Description

Grand Central Coffee Station is seeking customer service minded individuals who can multitask in a fast paced environment for their new location in Arnolds Park.  As a barista, employees are responsible for preparing coffee drinks as well as many other miscellaneous drinks, grilling sandwiches, making salads, baking goodies, assembling acai bowls and using a POS system.  Main duties for all employees are operating coffee and kitchen equipment, greeting customers, taking orders properly, assisting with daily tasks, working closely with co-workers, and having fun while doing it!  For the shop to run smoothly, it's important for the employees to keep the shop clean and well organized at all times.  We work together as a team and a family so opening and closing positions are very critical to how smoothly everything runs for the day.  Employees need to be detail oriented and have the ability to stand for long periods of time.  Full time and part time positions are available.  Previous experience is not necessary but a plus to have customer service experience.  Pay is competitive with the area and based on experience.  There is also opportunity for growth with lead barista positions.

Hire date will be Summer 2026.
