CORRIDOR TO HOST QUARTERLY INVESTOR MEETING

The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation (Corridor) will be hosting a Quarterly Investor Meeting and Lunch & Learn on Thursday, September 7th from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Iowa Lakes Community College Estherville Campus. The Corridor is partnering with Northwest Iowa STEM (NW STEM) for this event.

The Governor’s STEM Advisory Council mission is increasing interest and achievements in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) studies and careers through partnerships engaging preK-12 students, parents, educators, employers, non-profits, policy leaders and others. The Council provides opportunities that inspire Iowa’s young people to become innovative, enterprising contributors to our future workforce and the quality of life in our communities.

Northwest Iowa STEM is one of six regions in Iowa. In the presentation, NW STEM will share some of the programs available and discuss how business and industry can be involved with the STEM Council.

“The Iowa Lakes Corridor looks to bring quality education and networking opportunities to our area businesses,” said Corridor Coordinator of Administration and Communication Alyssa Petersen. “We are excited to use this opportunity to connect employers and educators through this program.”

The Quarterly Investor Meetings are free to attend for all Corridor investors, but RSVPs are required. Please RSVP here to reserve your spot!
