Senior Construction Project Representative

Responsibilities
Perform construction observation for water & wastewater projects having above average complexity. Maintain detailed records and documentation of construction activities. Responsible for coordinating directly with clients, contractors, subcontractors and engineers on day-to-day construction items. Coordinate material testing procedures and interpret results. Perform or coordinate measurement of construction work products for determination of project quantities, associated payment, and production of drawings. Actively participate in the development and preparation of plans and specifications for projects. May perform detailed engineering computations and plan production work. Provide technical advice regarding construction modifications and repairs to clients, contractors, sub-contractors and project engineers. Inspect project sites and evaluate contractor work for conformance with the project plans and specifications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent degree) plus four years of related experience OR 10+ years of related construction experience. Working knowledge of state and local specifications and general provisions. Ability to communicate and demonstrate an understanding of engineering concepts. Possess a valid driver’s license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required. Working understanding and experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required. Water & Wastewater Operator certifications strongly preferred.
