Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and respond to existing customer base via phone and email
- Remained informed of the price list set by the Director of Sales
- Create sales quotes and enter orders into Business Central
- Manage open orders by working with scheduling and shipping; manage customer pick up appointments
- Create and present daily reports to the Director of Sales and USDA; monitor performance metrics and stay informed of market trends and competitors
- Assist Accounting with late invoices, as needed
- Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance
- Travel less than 10%, annually
- Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal workload.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Degree in business or related field, preferred
- Previous administrative, customer service, sales, and/or logistics experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook; Microsoft Business Central, a plus
- Advanced level of verbal and written communication
- Strong sense of initiative and independent problem-solving with the ability to manage time and deadlines with little supervision
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Perform desk work (sitting or standing) for up to 100% of workday
- Repetitively use wrist, hand, and/or fingers
