Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Responsibilities
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a federally funded 3 day/2 night STEM Camp Counselor position June 2-4, 2026. Approximately 70 students from area middle schools will be housed on the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. A total of seven camp counselors will be hired to work with middle school students, college faculty, and Talent Search staff. Counselors will help lead/supervise students during academic and social activities. In addition, the Counselors will be responsible for the students on a 24-hour basis from Tuesday until Thursday evening when the camp ends.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current college student or graduate with prior camp counselor or experience working with youth preferred.
