Physical Demands/Requirements:

Standing for extended periods of time is common.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry 50+ lb. loads, and utilize safe-lifting equipment or perform team lifts of materials.
Kneeling, stooping, crouching is common.
Ability to reach and grab materials and tools.

Responsibilities

Produce at levels within range as established by department.
Understand and perform a variety of operations within department.
Assist other departments as production schedules require.
Present ideas for cost improvements and operational efficiencies.
Cooperate with peers, supervisors, other departments and office staff.
Occasionally lift up to 50 lb. loads of materials.
Comply with all Brownmed policies and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required.
Basic math skills required and statistics skills preferred.
Prior experience working in a team environment a plus.
Knowledge of TQM, ISO 9001, CE and QSR a plus.
