Responsibilities

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time position, 27.5 hours per week, located at the Administrative Offices in Estherville. Primary responsibilities are to assist the Executive Director in development, promotion, implementation, and monitoring of resource development activities including the Foundations and Alumni Association. This individual will be responsible for coordination and oversight of the scholarship process and fostering positive relations with donors and potential donors, gift processing and directing the activities and promotion of the Alumni & Friends Association. The successful candidate must be a detail oriented, team player and possess exceptional organizational, computer, leadership, written and oral communication skills. Key attributes include the ability to effectively and persuasively articulate (verbal/written) the needs of the College/Foundation, ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. An individual possessing a high-energy level, who is self-motivated, and goal oriented will enjoy this position. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, marketing, or communication preferred. 3-5 years of experience in institutional advancement, foundation development, fundraising and/or alumni relations desired. Evidence of creativity, self-directed initiative and enthusiasm.
