Responsibilities

Prepare estimates under general supervision.
Review and understand plans and specifications.
Provide support for the development of bidding strategies by obtaining specifications
Identify project bid requirements, scope of work, non-standard work conditions.
Prepare material take offs to develop estimated labor and material costs
Identify information that needs to be disseminated to subcontractors and vendors.
Attend pre-bid meetings.
MAY REQUIRE EXTENDED HOURS DURING BIDDING DEADLINES

Qualifications

2–4-year college degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, and/or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources
