Sewing Operator
Responsibilities
1. Operate Industrial and Serging sewing machine. 2. Sew various pre-cut products. 3. Produce at levels within range as established by department. 4. Understand and perform a variety of operations within department. 5. Assist other departments as production schedules require. 6. Present ideas for cost improvements and operational efficiencies. 7. Cooperate with peers, supervisors, other departments and office staff. 8. Occasionally lift up to 35 lb. loads of materials.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. 2. Sewing experience preferred. 3. Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus. 4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required. 5. Basic math skills required and statistics skills preferred. 6. Prior experience working in a team environment a plus. 7. Knowledge of TQM, ISO 9001, CE and QSR a plus.
