Responsibilities
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time per course contracted position based on need as determined by the Dean of CTE. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Must meet Adjunct Faculty qualifications. This position is for an adjunct Aviation Ground School Instructor and is responsible for conducting one or more of the following courses: Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, Flight Instructor-Instrument, Aviation Safety, Aviation Weather, General Aviation Operations Management, and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot. Days and times to be determined. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required 6,000 hours (3 years) of tested experience OR an associate degree in the field and 3,000 (1 ½ years) of tested experience. Preferred bachelor’s degree in the area or possess a bachelor’s degree in any area of study with at least 18 credit hours in the CTE field of instruction.
