Part-time Caretaker of Residential Properties
Description
Conduct routine inspections, identify hazards, maintain maintenance logs, recommend preventative maintenance projects, and ensure safe access throughout the property.
Responsibilities
Grounds and Landscape Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, edging, snow removal, tree and shrub care, flower beds, irrigation monitoring, pruning, debris removal, landscape health monitoring, perimeter lighting, seasonal fertilization and maintaining historic property appearance. House Exterior Maintenance: Seasonal decorations, exterior lighting, pond operation, gutter oversight, patios, porches, fences, painting, weatherproofing, inspections, furniture storage and monitoring building conditions. House Interior Maintenance: Minor repairs, touch-up painting, replacement of bulbs, batteries and filters, inspection of doors, locks, windows and hardware, monitoring leaks, pests and deterioration.
Qualifications
Groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, household and property maintenance (painting, small repairs and preventive), snow removal, and experience working independently
