Godbersen Metal Works is looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Spencer, IA. GMetal is a contract manufacturer that specializes in helping find solutions for OEM’s which exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Tests and inspects products to determine and maintain quality of GMetal products
Selects products and tests qualities such as lengths, diameters, thread locations and sizes for defective material or workmanship.
Utilizes Micrometers ,height gauges, calipers, check pins , angle gauges.
Compares dimensions on drawings or work orders for compliance.
Maintains files of inspection and implements corrective action
Recommends modifications of existing quality and production standards within the limits of equipment capability

Qualifications

Requires a HS diploma or GED, plus a minimum of two years college education OR equivalent capabilities.
A minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing Quality experience preferred.
Excellent customer interaction and communication is an absolute must.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
