Responsibilities

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: These are seasonal temporary full-time day positions located on the Emmetsburg or Estherville Campuses beginning May 13, 2024. Primary duties are to perform routine custodial duties including annual dorm cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, floors carpets, equipment, whiteboards, painting, etc. Assist with lawn care and sod placement. Work with cleaning equipment and expendable cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or willingness to obtain equivalency required. Experience as a custodian or housekeeper desired. Must have a valid driver’s license. Preference given to previous employed summer help. Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
