Deer Creek Phase II awarded Workforce Housing Tax Credits

Gov. Reynolds announced Workforce Housing Tax Credit awards to projects across the state. Among the recipients is Deer Creek Apartments II in Estherville. This project will receive a total of $1,000,000 in tax credits which will support an additional 64 units.

Workforce Housing Tax Credits support development of housing in Iowa communities. Total program benefits are limited to $1 million per project and have a per-unit cost cap to ensure units created are workforce housing.
