The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation (Corridor) is happy to announce Cory Hepola as the speaker for the 13th Annual Business Recognition Luncheon to be held in January.

Cory Hepola is a 3-time Emmy Award Winning TV Anchor and Documentarian. A dynamic leader led by his mission to unite rural and urban America, Hepola recently won an Emmy Award as the creator and host of the popular docuseries, “Rural By Choice,” which serves to break down the popular misconceptions of the rural lifestyle. Currently he serves as the Vice President of Communications, Growth, & Strategy at The Brookshire Company.

“Cory has a passion for rural communities that is obvious in every conversation,” said Corridor President & CEO Curt Strouth. “His message of Learn. Listen. Mission. will give attendees a step-by-step process to creating joyful impact on our communities.”

While Hepola is in the region for the Business Recognition Luncheon, he will also be working with a production team to film an episode on the Iowa Lakes Corridor Region in The Brookshire Company’s new documentary series called “My Town.”
