The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation (Corridor) is happy to announce Kyle Norris and Scott Siepker as keynote speakers for the 14th Annual Business Recognition Luncheon to be held January 29th.

Norris is currently the Executive Dean at Iowa Lakes Community College where he influences the education of the next generation workforce in the state of Iowa. He has spent his career helping, sometimes begging, others to seek out the best in themselves. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, Biology Professor, sports science consultant, and high school softball coach, there is an opportunity to share the message of grit, leadership, and achievement every day. Norris has worked with national organizations like the American Volleyball Coaches Association, USA Volleyball, Athletic Republic, Under Armor, and Driveline Baseball, among other emerging brands. He and his wife Amee raised their two children on the Norris family homestead and Century Farm in Northwest Iowa where he can be found in his shop on the rare occasion he doesn’t have someplace else to be. Norris is a lifelong Iowan and is dedicated to making contributions to the people that will make this state the envy of the world.

Siepker is an actor, writer, and filmmaker. Starting off as a stage actor at Iowa State University, Siepker received his bachelor’s degree in psychology. His film company has been responsible for the dozens of videos including the Iowa Nice series of hit videos that included a two-season run on ESPNU’s College Football Daily. Best known for his work as the Iowa Nice Guy, Siepker is a versatile, veteran actor of stage and screen, drama and comedy, and he is the Executive Producer and Narrator of the acclaimed new film, “Kinnick: The Documentary.”

“We are excited to have two dynamic speakers for our 14th Annual Business Recognition Luncheon,” said Corridor President and CEO Curt Strouth. “As leaders in the state of Iowa, both Kyle and Scott will bring their different, yet complimentary messages to our region’s business and community leaders.”

The Business Recognition Luncheon will be held at the Clay County Regional Events Center on January 29 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. RSVP for the event at www.lakescorridor.com/luncheon by Monday, January 20, 2025.
